The ski has a unit for elimination of backlash of the ski during the movement in the classical course. The unit has a locking support as a brake, which is fastened on the ski and is extendable by a continuous fold of the ski. The actuation of the bolt support is realized by an adjustable rod, which is controlled by a reciprocating shoe holder. The shoe holder is adjustable on longitudinal runner on the ski. The bolt support is rotatably mounted on a bearing plate connected with the ski.
