PURPOSE: A monorail bogie with a carriage separation preventing unit is provided to improve safety and to simplify maintenance by preventing the separation, secession, and damage of carriage frames with respect to the monorail bogie. CONSTITUTION: A monorail bogie comprises a suspension frame(4), a carriage separation preventing unit, and a vertical stopper assembly. The suspension frame is arranged under a vehicle body of a railway vehicle driving on a monorail track and forms the top of a bogie. The carriage separation preventing unit is arranged in the center of the suspension frame and connects the bottom of the vehicle body and the suspension frame. The vertical stopper assembly is arranged on the top of the suspension frame and is mounted on the left and right sides of the carriage separation preventing unit. When the carriage descends under a critical length, the vertical stopper assembly makes the carriage stop descending. |
