The generator has a resonator (12) including a lobe like inner electrode (14) and a pot like outer electrode (16) lying opposite to each other and coaxially arranged relative to each other. The electrodes are formed with a spark gap device (26) striking through relative to ignition voltage. The spark gap device includes two spark gaps (24a, 24b) which are switched in series. Bores (28, 30) are axially aligned with each other, where a conductor device (32) extends from the bores at a distance to each other. |
