<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb filter capable of reducing pressure loss. <P>SOLUTION: A honeycomb filter 100 comprises a plurality of parallel flow channels 110 divided by porous partition walls 120, and the flow channels 110 have flow channels 110a and other flow channels 110b adjacent thereto. The end parts of one end side of the honeycomb filter 100 in the flow channels 110a are sealed, and those of the other end side of the filter 100 in the channels 110b are also sealed.
