PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform animation encoding of an image plane obtained through drawing processing at high speed and efficiently.

SOLUTION: An image plane to be provided is drawn through at least two-stage drawing processing using view-point information determining the image plane to be drawn. In the drawing processing, the image plane to be provided is drawn in latter-stage drawing processing by reference to an intermediate value map of a specific channel generated through former-stage drawing processing. The animation distribution server selects an intermediate value map of at least one channel while executing the latter-stage drawing processing on a first image plane, and determines whether inter-frame encoding is carried out for each of set blocks by reference to a corresponding intermediate value map generated with respect to a second image plane drawn before the first image plane. The animation distribution server performs encoding according to a result of the determination after the latter-stage drawing processing on the first image plane ends, and transmits the encoded animation data to an external device. The result of the determination is transmitted to the external device before completion of the generation of the encoded animation data on the first image plane.
