<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simultaneous grinding machine for grinding rotation surfaces centered on one shaft, such as a bearing or journal for a camshaft or crankshaft, and to reduce the machining time of a workpiece material. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus for grinding rotation surfaces 12 centered on one shaft 3 comprises: a workpiece material spindle 1; a tailstock 2, and two grinding spindle bases 6, 6'. The shaft 3 is rotatably and drivably mounted about the central axial line. The spindle bases 6, 6' may be fed in a radial direction relative to the rotation surfaces 12. Grinding disk sets 10, 10' having many individual grinding disks 13, 13' are provided. Contours of the individual grinding disks are adapted to the rotation surfaces 12 to be machined. The spindle bases 6, 6' are provided at opposing sides of the shaft 3, and relatively displaced within the directions of the spindle axial lines 14, 14' of the grinding spindle bases.
