<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processing apparatus that detects abnormality of anatomy. <P>SOLUTION: The medical image processing apparatus of the embodiment includes: a storage part for storing a normal volume data and a volume data of a subject; a morphological parameter calculation part for calculating a plurality of morphological parameters based on the volume data of the subject; an alignment part for aligning the volume data of the subject with the normal volume data based on the plurality of morphological parameters and the plurality of normal morphological parameters in the normal volume data; and an abnormality detection part for detecting morphological abnormality in the volume data of the subject by comparing the degree of morphological difference calculated based on the plurality of morphological parameters in the volume data of the aligned subject and the plurality of normal morphological parameters with a threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
