<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic travel control device capable of detecting proper concern of a driver about an automatic travel operation, and to prevent monitoring abandonment of the driver about the automatic travel operation. <P>SOLUTION: After the passage of a first predetermined time during automatic travel control (S1), a vehicle speed is reduced from a target vehicle speed based on the automatic travel control to an operation monitoring confirmation vehicle speed (S2, S3).
