<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved fan assembly. <P>SOLUTION: The fan assembly for creating an air current includes an air inlet (20), an air outlet (14), an impeller (64), and a motor (68) for rotating the impeller for creating the air current passing from the air inlet to the air outlet. The air outlet (14) includes an interior passage (94) for receiving the air current and a mouth part (26) for emitting the air current. The air outlet (14) forms an opening (24) through which air is drawn from the outside of the fan assembly by the air current emitted from the mouth part.
