A solid state drive includes one or more radiation-resistant controllers, one or more radiation-resistant low write endurance, high density, non-volatile memories for infrequently-written data, and one or more radiation-resistant, high write endurance, low density, non-volatile memories for frequently written files. Resulting elimination of the need for wear leveling and associated write amplification results in higher life time storage capabilities for these drives. |
