The purpose of the invention is to enable the effective strengthening of the inner unit by means of exercises in a rotating direction or single leg-raising exercises and to make rotation exercises in the procumbent position possible. A first body section (1) is obtained from a rectangular parallelepiped component (1A) and an integrated semicylinder component (1B). When using the assistance device in exercises in the procumbent position, both anterior superior iliac spines and the pubic bone are protected by first, second and third pads (4, 5, 8), respectively, and the abdomen fits inside a groove (6). When a person tries to perform leg raises on one side in said position, the semicylinder component (1B) starts to roll towards the opposite side as a result of the linear contact support of the top (1BT) of the semicylinder component (1B) with the floor. As a result of trying to hold the body so as to prevent said rolling and keep the body from being thrown off the device, exertion is focused in the inner unit and said region is strengthened. |
