PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that can present label candidates having print contents corresponding to full sizes of a label to be issued to a user while allowing the user to grasp the full sizes of the label to be issued, and further to provide a label issuing device, a displaying method and a program.

SOLUTION: A display device comprises: a storage section 12 that associates outer shape sizes of a label with label candidates indicating print contents of the label and stores them therein; an outer shape size candidate display section (label size selecting screen D3) for displaying full-sized outer shape size candidates (label size candidates 31) that are candidates indicating outer shape sizes of the label and have full-sized outer shapes of the label; a selection operating section for selecting any full-sized outer shape size candidate; and a label candidate display section (label selecting screen D4) for displaying label candidates (label samples 41) that are associated with an outer shape size indicated by the full-sized outer shape size candidate selected in response to operation of the selection operating section and are stored.
