摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing a long-term compact satellite model. <P>SOLUTION: An extended ephemeris navigation system capable of using a network comprises a network server which can collect ephemeris, clock and almanac information from a GPS satellite in an orbit and uses the information for constructing extended ephemeris prediction effective and useful for at least one week. A mobile client can request and use the extended ephemeris prediction for searching for and tracking a GPS satellite in a visible orbit. Improvement of this invention is characterized by compact model construction for a satellite position and clock, and a database unit, and the improvement is designed to construct a short-term satellite model to be firstly transmitted in response to a request for the extended ephemeris prediction by the mobile client, and to construct several successive long-term satellite models indicating respective daily specific parts of at least successive seven days. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
