<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuning device which is easy to carry, has an easy-to-see display part, and is usable even in a limited space. <P>SOLUTION: A tuning device 1 for musical instrument comprises a tuner body 2 which measures the interval of a sound that a musical instrument generates by electrically acquiring the sound while connecting with the musical instrument or acquiring the sound with a microphone while not connecting with the musical instrument, and also has a display screen for displaying a prescribed interval of the sound, and two interval display parts 3 which are connected to both end parts of the tuner body and have numberless light emitting bodies on surfaces at equal intervals, and displays the prescribed interval of the sound on the display screen. When the sound is lower than the prescribed interval, light emitting bodies of one interval display part illuminates, but when the sound is higher than the prescribed interval, light emitting bodies of the other interval display part illuminate so as to indicate how much the sound is different from the prescribed interval with positions where the light emitting bodies illuminate or with the number of the light emitting bodies which illuminate.
