<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle slide rail device configured to move a lock spring having a lock part to be engaged with or disengaged from a lock groove formed in a lower rail in a direction as parallel as possible with an extending direction of the lock groove, to smoothly engage or disengage the lock part with respect to the lock groove. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle slide rail device includes: a plurality of lock grooves 25 formed in the lower rail 21 and extending in a vertical direction and each having one end opened; an upper rail 35 slidably supported on the lower rail and having a plurality of support parts 42 distant from each other in longitudinal direction; a lock spring 63 having a lock part 64 to be engaged with or disengaged from the lock groove 25 and formed in an elastic deformation part which is formed between the sections supported by the support parts so as to be elastically deformable in the vertical direction; and a lock release lever 47 rotatably supported on the upper rail and engaging the elastic deformation part with a spring pressing part 52 of the lever.
