EARTHQUAKE DETECTOR WITH DOUBLE PENDULUM SUSPENSION

Invention herewith described refers to the earthquake detector with double pendulum suspension consisting of: the transverse girder (4) with the groove (5) at the top, the hook (7) which is placed in the groove (5) and has the extensions with the brackets (6) on both sides carrying the hollow weight (10). On the bottom of the weight (10) there is a stainless contact ring (12) connected to the wire (14), which is on the other end connected with the electronics-electrics in place (14A). The contact wire (14) is along the part, which is in the contact with the metal, insulated except on the ends where it is soldered. This is one suspension system – the external pendulum with the hollow weight. The pendulum is always in a vertical position; no matter at what angle the box is placed. The mentioned external pendulum is completely novelty, and serves to ensure that the bottom contact ring (12) always follows the primary other pendulum (9) going through the centre of the weight (10) i.e. the first pendulum and provides that the both pendulums are always in the axis.The novelty is that the hook (7) serves as a carrier for the hook (8) which is of one piece with the lever (9) to which there is attached the weight (11). The inner pendulum is always in the vertical position so that the weight of the internal pendulum elements - rings (8), the pendulum rod (9) and the weight (10) additionally provide the vertical position of the system no matter how the box is tilted. This provides for the internal pendulum with the pendulum lever (9) to be always in idle mode in the middle i.e. in the axis in relation to the external pendulum and the weight (10).
