OPTICAL ELEMENT MOVEMENT APPARATUS AND OPTICAL PICKUP DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element movement apparatus which has a spring brought into contact with a feed shaft with a simple structure using the spring, and to provide an optical pickup device using the same.

SOLUTION: An optical element movement apparatus 11 includes: a screw-shaped feed shaft 44 arranged in parallel to an optical path of laser light; guide shafts 46 and 48 arranged in parallel to the feed shaft 44; an element holding section 50 which moves along the guide shafts 46 and 48 in a state where a collimator lens 22 is held; and a spring 52 which is fixed to the element holding section 50 and is wound toward the feed shaft 44.
