<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter allowing authenticity discrimination to prevent forgery, a device and a method of preparing the printed matter, and a device and a method of authenticating the printed matter allowing authenticity discrimination. <P>SOLUTION: In the printed matter allowing authenticity discrimination, when a predetermined color element having the highest color value is extracted from a plurality of color elements of a printed image having a continuous tone constituted of the plurality of color images and the frequency analysis of an image constituted of the extracted predetermined color element is performed, a frequency component corresponding to information to be embedded is extracted. The image constituted of the predetermined color element is formed of at least one region in which concentric parallel lines having at predetermined intervals set so as to extract the frequency component corresponding to the information to be embedded are arranged, and an image constituted of remaining color elements is formed of at least one region in which an image group having a shape different from the concentric parallel lines is arranged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
