<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact recording apparatus capable of taking measures against insufficient heating of an edge of a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: A printer includes an inkjet head for ejecting ink onto a medium M and an infrared heater 53 for irradiating the medium M with infrared rays. The infrared heater 53 employs a structure including an infrared irradiation unit 54 extending widthwise across the medium M and internal reflectors 60 provided widthwise as a pair inward from both ends 54a and 54b of the infrared irradiation unit 54 and also for reflecting at least part of the infrared rays emitted from the infrared irradiation unit 54 widthwise outward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
