<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication device in which power consumption can be reduced by appropriately controlling the transmission power depending on the distance between a base station and a mobile station. <P>SOLUTION: A reference value acquisition unit 203 receives a timing adjustment value for use in adjustment of transmission timing of a transmission signal from a base station, and acquires a reference value that is a threshold for determining whether or not the transmission power corresponding to the timing adjustment value is excessive. A variation acquisition unit 202 receives a transmission power control instruction from the base station at each predetermined timing, and then acquires variation of transmission power sequentially from the received transmission power control instruction. A transmission power calculation unit 201 varies a transmission power value based on the variation of transmission power acquired by the variation acquisition unit 202 when the transmission power value does not exceed a reference value acquired by the reference value acquisition unit 203, otherwise varies the transmission power value based on the variation smaller than that acquired by the variation acquisition unit 202. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
