<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a fall-prevention structure for seismic-isolated buildings, which, allowing rocking, can unfailingly prevent a building from falling even when the aspect ratio of the building is large, and furthermore enables vertical vibration-control performance to be given to the buildings; and a seismic-isolated building with the structure installed. <P>SOLUTION: A fall-prevention structure B consists of an outer fall-prevention structure B1 and an inner fall-prevention structure B2. The outer fall-prevention structure B1 comprises an outer hold-down part 7 which is formed by extending an upper seismic-isolation-device-fixing member 6 outward in the lateral direction T1, and an outer fall-prevention structure main body 8 which is placed overhanging with a designated spacing in the vertical direction T2 above the outer hold-down part 7. The inner fall-prevention structure B2 includes an inner fall-prevention structure main body 10, which, consisting of a side part 10a and 10b, and an inner hold-down part 10c, is arranged to surround a lower seismic-isolation-device-fixing member 5 and the upper seismic-isolation-device-fixing member 6 with a designated spacing in the vertical direction T2 between the inner hold-down part 10c and the upper seismic-isolation-device-fixing member 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
