<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce ununiformity, in a longitudinal direction of a light guide, of light quantity to be radiated to a static elimination object such as an image holder or the like, in a static eliminator and an image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: The static eliminator includes: a light guide which extends in a bar shape along a static elimination object whose charge is to be eliminated by receiving light irradiation, which makes light emitted from a light source incident from one end surface and exhales the light from a peripheral surface while guiding the light; and a reflector which has an opening on a side where the light guide faces the static elimination object, surrounds the light guide except the facing side and reflects the light exhaled from the light guide. The light source is arranged in an attitude so that an emission optical axis is inclined in a direction of coming into and out of contact with the static elimination object as being further separated from the light source, relative to the direction in which the light guide extends in the bar shape along the static elimination object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
