The invention relates to a device (1) for administering a pulsed radiofrequency therapy in the vascular system or in other body cavities or tissues of the human or animal body, comprising a catheter (2) having at least one electrode (3) arranged on said catheter for insertion into the vascular system or into another body cavity or tissue of the human or animal body; a probe (4) having at least one additional electrode (5, 6) arranged on said probe, wherein the probe (4) can be introduced through the catheter (2) into the vascular system or into the other body cavity or into the tissue of the human or animal body; and to a generator that is electrically connected to the electrodes (3, 5, 6) for generating a pulsed electromagnetic field between the electrodes (3, 5, 6). |
