Provided is a system in which a power source is connected to an electrical storage device and a load, wherein a power-smoothing controller for smoothing power supplied from the power source has a stored power residual amount acquisition unit, a target determination unit, and a control unit. The stored power residual amount acquisition unit acquires the residual amount of stored power at each monitoring time. At the end of a smoothing period, the target determination unit uses the residual amount of stored power acquired by the stored power residual amount acquisition unit as a basis for calculating a stored power residual amount representative value that represents the transition in the residual amount of stored power in a period, and uses the stored power residual amount representative value for determining a variation quantity with respect to the smoothing target value currently set. The target determination unit determines a smoothing target value for power-smoothing which is used in the next period and is varied by the determined variation quantity. The control unit controls the power supplied from the power source and the electrical storage device to the load, on the basis of the smoothing target value for power-smoothing which is used in the next period and is determined by the target determination unit. Thus, smoothing control corresponding to the power usage state of the load and the power source is possible. |
