<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element capable of obtaining light in which intensity distribution is equalized with high efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: An optical element 30 includes: a first rod integrator 31A that has a first end surface 3a and a second end surface 4a; a second rod integrator 31B that has a third end surface 3b and a fourth end surface 4b; and a first medium 32A and a second medium 32B interposed between the first rod integrator 31A and the second rod integrator 31B. The first medium 32A is positioned closer to a first surface 1 side than to the second medium 32B, and the second medium 32B is positioned closer to a second surface 2 side than to the first medium 32A. A refractive index of the first medium 32A is less than a refractive index of the first rod integrator 31A and a refractive index of the second rod integrator 31B, and a refractive index of the second medium 32B is equal to the refractive index of the first rod integrator 31A and the refractive index of the second rod integrator 31B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
