REPAIR METHOD OF METAL COMPONENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate repairing damage generated on a cast steel metal component used in a high-temperature and high-pressure environment.

SOLUTION: A repair method of a metal component includes steps of: mechanically removing a damaged part of the metal component; filling a part where the damaged part is removed with a brazing filler metal having a lower melting point than a metal material which forms the metal component; and polishing a surface of a part filled with the brazing filler metal to be smooth.
