#CMT# #/CMT# The mechanism has a cage (14) comprising a lower half-cage provided with a lower bridge (22) and an upper half-cage provided with an upper bridge (20). An intermediate bridge (24) is placed in the cage between the lower and upper half-cages. An escape mechanism is housed inside the cage, and includes a balance (10) and an escape wheel (12). An escape pinion (38) is geared with a fixed element of movement in which the mechanism is placed. The balance, the wheel and the pinion are pivoted on the lower and upper bridges and the intermediate bridge. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Tourbillion mechanism for use in a timepiece field. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The mechanism is manufactured and installed in a simple manner. The mechanism allows an axis of the escape wheel to be directly pivoted on an edge comprising the lower bridge so as to limit number of parts of the mechanism. The mechanism is constructed to obtain a simple and compact structure with less thickness by using limited parts and without multiplying the bridges.
