<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminating apparatus, using conducting pins, that can restrain peeling off or displacement of a printed wiring board at insertion of the conducting pins. <P>SOLUTION: The illuminating apparatus 11 includes a light guide 13 made of a translucent material, a light source 14 emitting light toward side faces of the light guide 13, a circuit board 16 mounting the light source 14 and conducting pins 15 with an end inserted into an external circuit, and a housing 12 storing the circuit board 16.
