<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful display device capable of reducing flickers in images and easily coming into focus even when a relative position between the display device and an observer changes. <P>SOLUTION: A display device includes a plurality of light emission point groups and a plurality of microlenses that projects light fluxes from the plurality of light emission point groups, respectively. The plurality of microlenses is arranged so as to overlap images of the light emission point groups. With the display device, a projection image by the plurality of microlenses is produced on the retina of an observer by making a light flux from a light emission point among the light emission point groups that is projected by the plurality of microlenses and overlapped enter the pupil of the observer. The interval of the light flux from the plurality of light emission points of the same light emission point group among the plurality of light emission point groups is larger than the diameter of the pupil on the lens of the eye of the observer.
