Disclosed are a home network device management method, a control device and a home network device, which belong to the home network field. The method comprises: a control device and a home network device performing mutual authentication; and after the mutual authentication is passed, the control device receiving a first certificate and a second certificate sent by a master device, and the control device sending the first certificate and the second certificate to the home network device. A trust relationship is established through mutual authentication between the home network device and the master device, the home network device and the master device join a device group, the master device issues a master device certificate used for authentication to the home network device, and subsequent interaction between the master device and the home network device, and between the home network device and other devices in the group uses the certificate issued by the master device to ensure security.
