Cpd. of formula: is used as brightener for organic materials including polyolefins, PVC, polyesters, polyamides, cellulose and its esters, esp. polyesters of aromatic polycarboxylic acids with polyvalent alcohols e.g. polyterephthalic acid-glycol ester. it is prepd. from corresp. oxime hydrazones by acid condensation.
