PURPOSE: An extension beam device for a crane is provided to increase durability and to efficiently transfer power by transferring the power of a driving motor with pinions and racks. CONSTITUTION: An extension beam device for a crane comprises a main beam(1), support shafts(2a,2b), a pair of extension beams(3a,3b), racks(4a,4b), pinions(5a,5b), and driving motors(6a,6b). The inside of the main beam is empty. The support shafts are coupled at the bottom of both ends of the main beam. The pair of extension beams moves in the main beam while the bottom of the pair of the extension beams is supported by the support shafts. The racks are installed at the top of the extension beams. The pinions are connected to the racks. The driving motors drives the pinions to generate rotation force for horizontally moving the extension beams. |
