PURPOSE: A gel band extraction device and a method for extracting a gel band using the same are provided to directly extract the gel band and to ensure convenience. CONSTITUTION: A gel band extraction device(1) for selectively cutting and extracting a certain band of a gel phase comprises: a cutter tip(12) which is formed at one end of the device and has a closed cross-section to cut a predetermined region; and an ejector(20) which is placed at the back side of the cutter tip and discharges the gel band(100) from the cutter tip. The gel band extraction device has a cutter main body(10) with the cutter tip and the ejector which is mounted separate from the cutter main body.
