PURPOSE: A cleaner having a steering unit is provided to steer a head part by sensing the angle variation of a handle part, utilizing an angle variation as a steering signal, and driving a steering unit installed in a head part. CONSTITUTION: A cleaner having a steering unit includes a main body(10), a head part(20), a steering unit, a handle part, a first sensing unit, and a control unit. A head part is installed to be rotatable in the parallel direction to the ground about the main body. A steering unit is installed in the main body or head part and changes the angle of a head part about the main body. A handle part is equipped in the main body. A first sensing unit measures the angle variation of a handle part about the main body. A control unit receives a signal from the first sensing unit and controls the steering unit.
