PURPOSE: An image restoration method and a device are provided to restore a video file having damaged image information, thereby supplying the video file of excellent quality. CONSTITUTION: A video reproduction unit(110) reproduces a video file. An image restoration unit(120) senses damage of the video file. The image restoration unit analyzes a motion vector of a damaged image and an associated relation of a front-to-back frame and a damaged video frame. The image restoration unit restores the video file. A display unit(130) displays the video file on a screen.
