FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biodegradable multiphase 5 compositions for making articles, which are characterised by that they contain three phases: (a) a continuous phase consisting of a matrix of at least one elastic hydrophobic polymer which is incompatible with starch; (b) a dispersed starch phase in form of nanoparticles with average size of less than 0.3 mcm, (c) an additional dispersed phase of at least one non-elastic and brittle polymer with 10 modulus of elasticity higher than 1000 MPa.EFFECT: invention enables to obtain articles with modulus of elasticity higher than 300 MPa and significant isotropy in two, longitudinal and transverse, directions with respect to fracture propagation.41 cl, 3 tbl, 2 dwg, 2 ex |
