<p>Moisture curing polyurethane prepolymers are packaged by introducing the prepolymer together with a halohydrocarbon with a b.p. of 5-65 degrees C into a package closable with a cover, the prepolymer contg. at most 15% wt. of the halohydrocarbon. The premature gelling or curing of the prepolymer is prevented. The contents of the package are not under a high pressure. Large sized packages e.g. up to 3001, can be filled with prepolymer, for storage, transportation and subsequent use. The prepolymer contains 3-8% wt. of the halohydrocarbon. The package may be a can, tube, jar, or similar container.</p> |
