<p>PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to effectively discharge gas generated from inside a pouch by a temperature increase due to overcharging and overdischarging, thereby preventing ignition and explosion. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery(1000) using a shape memory alloy comprises: a battery cell(100) which comprises a positive electrode tab(110) and a negative electrode tab(120) protruded to each other; a pouch(200) to draw a positive electrode tab and negative electrode tab to be drawn to outside and surround the battery cell for sealing; and a shape memory alloy(300) is mounted in the pouch and has a bent part(310). The bent part is unfolded and penetrates into the pouch to open the pouch when the temperature of the battery cell is increased over a specific temperature.</p> |
