PURPOSE: A pigment composition is provided to have excellent stability and dispersity and improved color property, thereby being used as a color composition for a display color filter. CONSTITUTION: A pigment composition comprises: a metal complex compound in chemical formula 1; and a pyrimidine or a derivative thereof indicated in chemical formula 2 and melamine or a derivative thereof indicated in chemical formula 3, as a guest compound. In the chemical formulas, each R and R' is selected from OH, NH2, NHCN, acylamino, and arylamino; each of R1 and R1' is OH or NH2; each of A, B, and C is C1-C5 alkyl, phenyl, -OH, -SH, -SO3H, -COOH, NR''R''', -O-R'', or -O-Ph; each of R2-R7 is hydrogen, a substituted or unsubstituted C1-20 linear or branched alkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted C6-C20 aryl, a substituted or unsubstituted C3-20 heteroaryl, a substituted or unsubstituted C8-C20 cyclic aryl, or a substituted or unsubstituted C8-C20 heterocyclic aryl.
