<p>An assembly 1 has inner 13 and outer 12 walls that define a first flow path 11 along which a first fluid €˜F1 €™ flows. A component 20 comprising a plurality of laminates 31 coupled together to form heat transfer surfaces 32 is disposed in the first flow path. The heat transfer surfaces of the component define a second flow path 22 along which a second fluid €˜F2 €™ flows. The heat transfer surfaces include primary heat transfer surfaces 33, which may be disposed on an upstream side of the component with respect to the first fluid flow. The first flow path may be a fan duct 60 of a turbo-machine 50 and the component may have an airfoil shape. The laminates may include fins (80, figure 6), and the component may be a gearbox cowling 30 having end plates and an oil tank (70, figure 5).</p> |
