FIELD: metallurgy.SUBSTANCE: method involves mixing of products containing magnesium compounds and/or carbon component, which form gaseous agent at heating, magnesian component burned in rotating and/or shaft furnace and binding substances, briquetting or granulation. At the mixing stage, the charge composition additionally contains unburned calcium-containing component, and at least one of burned magnesian components is introduced in the form of a fraction with size of less than 0.088 mm, which is obtained by means of complete or partial grinding, or caught in aspiration systems of material burning furnaces.EFFECT: invention allows increasing the resistance of fire-resistant lining of metallurgical units and improving the degree of metal cleaning from hazardous impurities, as well as reducing the slag blowing time owing to increasing the dilution speed of modifying agent in slag.2 cl, 1 tbl |
