FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology, and can be applied in surgical treatment of traumatic injuries of frontal sinuses and recurring purulent and purulent-polypous frontites. Method lies in detection of sinus, ablation of mucous membrane, processing of sinus walls by drills and obliteration. For coagulation and sterilisation of frontal sinus walls air-plasma flows, generated by apparatus "Plason", are used. Mild distant impact by manipulator with outlet temperature 3000-3500°C is performed in coagulation mode by scanning movements at rate 3 cm per second from the distance 15-20 cm with 1-3 minute exposure depending on operation cavity volume. After that, further obliteration is performed with biocompatible implantation materials with high osteoconductive and osteoinductive properties, such as hydroxyapol (HAP 99) and kolapol (KP-3L, KP-3M).EFFECT: application of claimed invention makes it possible to increase efficiency of frontal sinus obliteration with biocompatible composite materials and ensure prevention of development of late complications.2 ex |
