PURPOSE: A method for testing a harness cable for electronic devices and a device thereof are provided to draw potential degradation generated by the unstable coupling of a terminal and a connector pin by simultaneously using a mechanical vibration and an electric signal. CONSTITUTION: Both terminals(110,120) of a harness cable(100) are individually connected with a connector pin for a test. A DAC pulse signal input device(10) inputs a test pulse signal having a constant frequency to the harness cable. An ADC pulse signal receiving device(20) receives the pulse signal through the harness cable. A controller(30) for determining degradation determines degradation and detects a difference by comparing an input signal of the harness cable between the DAC pulse signal input device and the ADC pulse signal receiving device with the pulse signal of the harness cable. A vibration generating device(40) artificially draws the current degradation and potential degradation of the harness cable. |
