PURPOSE: A fine seek apparatus in an optical disc drive is provided to position an optical pick-up lens at the center of an actuator after a fine seek operation is completed. CONSTITUTION: A tracking actuator(12) moves a lens of optical pickup. A tracking actuator driver(11) drives the tracking actuator. A sled motor(16) moves the whole optical pick up. A sled motor driver(15) drives the sled motor. A processing unit matches the lens transfer speed of a tracking error frequency with the lens transfer speed of the sled motor.
