Preparation of non-agglomerating, well separatable mixed bed ionexchangers or mixed bed components, comprises treating the anionic exchanger component before or after mixing with the cationic exchanger component with a condensate of one or more aromatic sulfonic acid in the application concentration of 10 mg/liter resin to 100 g/liter resin.
