PURPOSE: An optical absorption filter and a display device using the same are provided to prevent the decline of visibility by external light. CONSTITUTION: A display device is classified into a backlight(100) and an LCD panel(300). The backlight comprises a light source, a light guide plate, and various kinds of sheets. The LCD panel comprises a TFT substrate(310), a color filter, and liquid crystal(320) filled between the color filter and TFT substrate. Polarizing plates(210,220) are formed on the top and bottom of the LCD panel. The color filter forms an RGB pixel unit in a domain which is segmented by a black matrix. The black matrix is positioned between multiple pixel pixels. |
