PURPOSE: A non-volatile memory(NVM) system is provided to store user data and metadata in a storage area and overlap a part of the whole time of inputted user data and metadata, thereby reducing data storage time. CONSTITUTION: A memory device(120) includes a first memory(121) and a second memory(122). A control unit(110) stores N-1 metadata in the second memory. The control unit stores N user data in the second memory and overlaps a part of the whole storage time of N user data and the N-1 metadata. The N-1 metadata includes mapping information for a logical address and a physical address of N-1 user data.
