PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition of natural oriental medicine containing a phellinus linteus extract is provided to suppress tyrosinase and to ensure skin whitening effect. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition of natural oriental medicine contains 0.5-15 wt% of a phellinus linteus extract as an active ingredient. The extract is prepared by supercritical extraction at 200-300 bar and at 40-60 deg. C. The cosmetic composition is a liquid phase, a cream phase, a paste phase, or a solid phase.
