<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system and the gas leakage detection method of the fuel cell system capable of enhancing the accuracy of hydrogen gas leakage detection. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system 100 is equipped with a hydrogen gas supply source 1, a fuel cell 2, a hydrogen gas passage 90 connected to the fuel cell 2, a pressure detecting means 10 for detecting the pressure in the hydrogen gas passage 90, a pressure control valve 20 for controlling the pressure in the hydrogen gas passage 90, and a control means 30 for controlling the operation of the pressure control valve 20, and when power generation current of the fuel cell 2 in the decision of the execution of gas leakage detection is represented by E, power generation current in normal operation by E, hydrogen gas pressure set with the pressure control valve 20 by X, and hydrogen gas pressure set with the pressure control valve 20 at the start of execution of gas leakage detection by Y, the relation of X and Y is Y>X. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
