PURPOSE: A backlight unit and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to attach a reflection layer connected to a flexible printed circuit board to an inclined surface of a light guide plate and to improve the efficiency of the light reflection by a light receiving part. CONSTITUTION: A light source array(170) includes a light source(170a) and a flexible printed circuit board(170b). A light guide plate(150) is arranged on one side of the light source array. A mold frame(160a) guides the light guide plate and the light source array. The light source array includes a reflection layer(170d). The reflection layer is connected to the flexible printed circuit board through a fixing tape(170c) attached to the flexible printed circuit board. |
